KOTO News has all your election coverage, leading up to Election Day on November 5th.

Our coverage will focus on demystifying the process, so voters can approach the ballot informed, candidates can address concerns and needs, and the entire community can be part of the conversation. We will ensure listeners have access to election materials (in English and Spanish) both through broadcast and on our website.

KOTO News is hosting a live Candidate Forum with District 3 San Miguel County Commissioner candidates Galena Gleason & Candy Meehan. Head to Lone Cone Library in Norwood on Tuesday, October 8th, to hear from the candidates and have an opportunity to ask questions. Arrive early, because the forum begins promptly at 6 p.m.

KOTO is thrilled to award the 2023/2024 academic year’s scholarship to Aizy Luna Alvarez Lezcano. Aizy plans to use the funds to help cover tuition and other associated expenses while attending Colorado Mesa University to pursue a degree in Nursing. Aizy has overcome many obstacles throughout her life to get to where she is now and she is excited to continue chasing her goal of attending college. We hope this scholarship helps Aizy as she head towards her bright future!
